The bedspread features a rich geometric pattern in green and white. Green is rarely found in surviving older Lithuanian textiles, making this fabric stand out not only for its pattern but also for its unusually vibrant color scheme. The bedspread is sewn together at the center from two woven sections – a characteristic production method of old household textiles, where narrower loom-woven pieces were joined to create a single larger textile work.
The woolen fabric is sturdy, pleasantly heavy, and has excellently preserved both its structure and color. The bedspread can be used for its original purpose or become a striking textile accent on a bed, sofa, or in a larger contemporary interior space.
