Workshops with Rimantas Kaukėnas Support Group
In partnership with the Rimantas Kaukėnas Support Group, we ran a special workshop at Vilnius Santaros Clinics designed for children and their parents: “Draw and Make Your Own Lampshade”. Children’s drawings, with help from parents, became one-of-a-kind light pieces—and most importantly, shared creative time and memories.

Partnering with Makalius, Pas Babą Radau lampshade workshops became accessible to a wider audience. Participants are invited to discover authentic Lithuanian textiles and craft a unique interior piece with their own hands.

Ieva Žulė’s discoveries: vintage items become treasures of memory
While some scour flea markets for rare finds from distant lands, Ieva Žulė looks for what was made here—in Lithuania. Her love of old household items inspired the Vilnius resident to launch Pas Babą Radau and rediscover our grandparents’ legacy: woven tablecloths, clay pots, wooden furniture, and other everyday objects that hold not only beauty but family histories.

Vilnius resident Ieva Žulė (33) has been surrounded by folk art since childhood, but she only discovered her love for Lithuanian folk crafts after becoming a mother. The mother of two boys now not only enjoys motherhood but also dedicates her free time to searching for authentic items—and her finds are coveted by many Lithuanians.
