Exceptional woven wool bedspread, characterized by an exceptionally rich and multicolored palette – combinations of green, red, yellow, pink, black, and white create a distinctive checkered pattern.

The exact origin is unknown. It is believed the bedspread is Lithuanian and possibly from the Dzūkija region. The bedspread is sewn down the middle from two woven parts – a characteristic production method of old household textiles, where narrower loom-woven sections were joined together to create one larger textile piece.
