A one-of-a-kind table lamp where fragments of Lithuanian textile find new purpose.
The lampshade is made from natural linen and a preserved fragment of an old Lithuanian traditional woven sash. The time-worn sash could no longer serve its original purpose, but its surviving part became the main accent of this shade – the vibrant blue ornament stands out subtly against the natural linen background and preserves a piece of Lithuanian textile history.
The shade is paired with a minimalist wooden tripod stand, whose natural wood allows the fabric texture and ornament to shine. The restrained form of the stand and the authentic textile character create a contemporary interior object that maintains a connection to Lithuanian heritage.
Each such shade is one-of-a-kind – it cannot be exactly replicated, as it is created from surviving fragments of old textiles.
Shade diameter 30 cm.
You can purchase the complete lamp with wooden tripod stand or the shade separately.
* For our shades, we use surviving fragments of old fabrics and textiles, extending their life and giving them new function.
